Shoot to Kill – Review

Shoot To Kill

Young Bond: Shoot to Kill
Author: Steve Cole
ISBN: 9780857533746

Shoot to Kill begins where Charlie Higson’s Young Bond series left off. A young James Bond has been expelled from Eton and has arrived at his new school where the action starts straight away. Before he knows what’s happening he has to save himself from harm to make a once in a lifetime trip onboard a movie mogul’s zeppelin that will take him on a school trip to the film studios of Hollywood. Bond soon discovers that once onboard the airship he hasn’t escaped trouble and that danger waits at every turn for him and his new friends, and it only gets worse once they land in America.

A fast-paced book aimed at young adults. A good page-turner, although it sometimes feels that it is more luck than skill that gets Bond out of the bad situations he finds himself in.
